President's Message
Shri Jai Narain Misra P.G. College, Lucknow was founded by its illustrious founder Sri
Jai Narain Misra with a philanthropic intention to help the marginalized and disadvantaged
sections of our society irrespective of caste, creed and religion. The successive
managements of the institution have steadfastly pursued this vision and tried to
steer the institution towards realizing the lofty objective of its founder.

Shri Jai Narain Misra P.G. College formally known as “Kanya Kubja” is one
of the oldest institutes of the city of Lucknow. Besides academics, it has touched
new heights in the field of sports and other social sectors. In this age of globalization
we wish to make it a center of excellence where the teaching is combined with professional
skills to generate employability among the students.

It gives me immense pride to be a part of leadership of this distinguished multidisciplinary institution, founded in 1917, which has stood as a beacon of learning for over a century. This college carries a rich heritage built by generations of visionary educators, dedicated students and committed citizens. This legacy inspires us every day to uphold the highest standards of academic excellence and to shape individuals who contribute meaningfully to society.
Having served this institution for more than 35 years as a Professor of Business Administration, and having had the honour of guiding young cadets as an ANO in the NCC, I have witnessed the transformative power of education and disciplined character-building. These experiences strengthen my belief that true education extends beyond the classroom. It nurtures competence, integrity, leadership and compassion.
Today, as we embrace an era of rapid change and new challenges, our college continues to thrive as a vibrant academic community offering diverse programmes in Science, Arts, Commerce, Management, Education, Physical Education and Law. Each discipline contributes uniquely to our collective vision of developing well-rounded, future-ready individuals. I encourage our students to explore knowledge fearlessly, think critically and pursue excellence with humility and determination.
To our esteemed faculty, I urge a continued commitment to innovative teaching, impactful research and the mentorship of young minds. Together, we must create an environment that promotes interdisciplinary learning, values-based education and a spirit of inquiry aligned with the aspirations of a dynamic nation.
