It gives me immense pride to be a part of leadership of this distinguished multidisciplinary institution, founded in 1917, which has stood as a beacon of learning for over a century. This college carries a rich heritage built by generations of visionary educators, dedicated students and committed citizens. This legacy inspires us every day to uphold the highest standards of academic excellence and to shape individuals who contribute meaningfully to society.
Having served this institution for more than 35 years as a Professor of Business Administration, and having had the honour of guiding young cadets as an ANO in the NCC, I have witnessed the transformative power of education and disciplined character-building. These experiences strengthen my belief that true education extends beyond the classroom. It nurtures competence, integrity, leadership and compassion.
Today, as we embrace an era of rapid change and new challenges, our college continues to thrive as a vibrant academic community offering diverse programmes in Science, Arts, Commerce, Management, Education, Physical Education and Law. Each discipline contributes uniquely to our collective vision of developing well-rounded, future-ready individuals. I encourage our students to explore knowledge fearlessly, think critically and pursue excellence with humility and determination.
To our esteemed faculty, I urge a continued commitment to innovative teaching, impactful research and the mentorship of young minds.
